Christian Aid and its supporters are joining together once again during Christian Aid Week to fundraise in all kinds of ways – here at St Peter's there is a Church collection and a Fundraising Refreshment Day!
Saturday 25th April from 10:00 am until 3:30 pm
The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) of the Parish of St Peter's High Harrogate will be held on Tuesday 19th May 2026 at 7:00 pm in Church. Before this meeting, we need to bring the Electoral Roll of the Parish up to date.
Harrogate Medical Society and Harrogate Hospital, with the support of Harrogate Civic Society and many other organisations and individuals, have been working hard for the past year on an exhibition and supporting programme to celebrate the 200th anniversary this April of the Royal Bath Hospital, Harrogate's first hospital.
On Wednesday 1st April at 7:15 pm with the Choir of St Peter's Church, Vocalis, Harrogate Bach Players and six soloists.
A large contingent from St Peter's supported Chris Clayton as he was collated and inducted as Priest in Charge of the Abbeylands Benefice on Wednesday 25th February at St Margaret's Church, Horsforth.
On Sunday afternoon, 25th January, four new members were admitted to the college of canons at Ripon Cathedral, including the Vicar of St Peter's Church, Alan Garrow.
Our Lent book for 2026 is Meeting God in John: A Companion for Lent, Holy Week, Easter and Beyond by David F. Ford. Perfect reading for the season of Lent, and a brilliant spiritual resource for any other time of the year, this introduction to John's Gospel is full of inspiration and encouragement for today. Two courses starting in February will be available - Thursday mornings in the Gallery at St Peter's Church (9:30 - 10:45 am) starting on 19th February; and Sunday evenings online (7:15 - 8:45 pm) starting on 22nd February.
Chris Clayton, our Associate Vicar, is leaving us to take up his new post at St Margaret’s, Horsforth. His last Sunday at St Peter's will be 18th January ...
Starting this week on 15th January 2026 classes are being held for those who wish to explore their faith with others who are also thinking about baptism or confirmation.
