What's happening with St Peter's Church Building?
Following the consultations earlier this year, and the ideas for activities this generated, the Parochial Church Council (PCC) has been considering possible implications for the layout of our building. Find out more at a gathering at 12:00 noon on Sunday 26th July in Church.
St Peter's CE Primary School Leavers' Service
As the school term ends we say good-bye to our Year 6 pupils at a Leavers' Service on Friday 17th July. Please pray for them all as they leave St Peter's CE Primary and look forward to starting their new secondary schools in September.
Deacons ordained at Petertide
Ten Deacons have been ordained by the Rt Revd Dr Toby Howarth, Bishop of Bradford and Acting Bishop of Leeds at Bradford Cathedral on Saturday 4th July at 11:00 am. They include Juliet Balme, who will serve as a Curate here at St Peter's, and Samantha Clayton, who will serve her Curacy at the Headingley and All Hallows Team Ministry.
St Peter's Vicarage Garden Party
Come and celebrate St Peter's Day at the annual Vicarage Garden Party on Sunday 28th June from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. There's a BBQ, a pizza oven and, of course, tea and cakes!

At 10:00 am the Bishop of Ripon, The Rt Revd Anna Eltringham, will be helping us celebrate our 150th Anniversary by preaching and presiding at a service of baptism and confirmation.

Come and celebrate St Peter’s and St Paul’s 150th anniversaries by joining us on our annual Parish Walk.
St Peter's Players Production 2026
As part of celebrations for St Peter's 150th anniversary, St Peters' Players are preparing to put on the 'rock opera' Jesus Christ Superstar in November 2026. There will be a sing-through in Church at 7:00 pm on Monday 15th June, then full rehearsals start on Monday evenings in September, with Monday and Tuesday evenings in October.
St Peter's Fundraising Refreshment Day
There is a St Peter’s Fundraising Refreshment Day (and Book Sale) to raise funds for our Church on Saturday 30th May from 10:00 am until 3:30 pm.
