Serving Groups

Coffee Rota

Coffee is served after all our morning services and before Afternoon Church. A great way to get to know people is to join the team that serves coffee/tea/juice/biscuits on these occasions.

Sunday Lunch Club

Every Sunday we provide a free meal for anyone who would like one at Wesley Centre, Lower Hall - we need volunteers who are prepared to cook either a beef or a chicken casserole in a slow cooker (provided) or prepare a pudding to be delivered to Wesley at 8:45 am or 12:15 pm still hot. All ingredients will be paid for. Our aim is to have enough volunteers so that no one needs to cook more than once every two months.

St Peter’s Sidespersons

These are the first people that the congregation and visitors meet before each Sunday service. They have a very important role in welcoming everyone and assisting with the smooth running of the service. We are looking for additional people to join the team.

St Peter’s Welcomers

We welcome visitors into our church during the week. We aim to be a friendly presence and help to make a visit to St Peter’s a positive experience and show the love of God to the wider community. Welcomers commit themselves to two to three hours each week, plus a monthly team meeting. New team members welcome.
