Our next building development fundraising event will be on 27th June when the Harrogate Band are joining us at our 11 o’clock morning service when we will be singing favourite hymns chosen by the congregation. At 12 noon the fun starts when we move to the Agar’s garden on Beech Grove for a picnic-style buffet lunch and a glass of Pimms (or soft drink). Tickets are £10 adult, £5 child or £25 family ticket available on Sunday mornings or the parish office Monday to Friday.

At the end of May Archbishop Sentamu visited St Peter’s as part of his two day visit to the Diocese. He enjoyed a buffet supper with us and met people involved in new kinds of ministry and fresh expressions of church. He was also interested in hearing about progress of our building development, community outreach and ministry to the hungry and homeless

The church looked spectacular this Easter with beautiful flowers decorating the font and the flowering cross.

Do come along to our combined service on Sunday 25th April at 10.15 when we will be having our AGM. Children can join in with an exciting craft activity and afterwards there will be light refreshments.
