Online Worship Options and Instructions

You can access our online worship by any of these four methods:

Zoom. The most reliable way to join us live. If you've not zoomed before, see the set up instructions below.

Facebook. The simplest way to join us live - provided you are a member of Facebook. If you've not yet joined Facebook all you need is a working email address. There are clear instructional videos on 'how to join Facebook' on Youtube. Once you've joined, don't forget to apply to join the "St Peter's Church, Harrogate" group. Recordings of services are also available on our Facebook Group page.

Youtube. The St Peter's Church Harrogate Youtube Channel is the simplest way to access recordings of Morning and Evening Prayer - but only after the event. 

Telephone. This method allows you to hear the service live even if you don't have access to the internet. Just follow the step-by-step instrutions below. NB the cost of this service (a call to an Edinburgh number) varies a great deal depending on your phone provider. 

Phone access instructions

To access 9.30 Family Communion over the telephone: 
1) Dial 0131 460 1196
You will then be asked to 'Enter the Meeting ID followed by hash [#]' 
2) Enter: 883 7306 6085 #  
You will then be asked to 'Enter your personal ID - or just enter #'
3) Just press # [there are no personal IDs for our services]
You will then be asked to 'Enter your meeting's password'
4) Enter 631156 #
You should then hear the service through your telephone.
Be aware, however, that your phone provider will charge you for this service. The best way to find out how much it costs/minute is to contact your provider to ask the cost of a call from your phone to an 0131 number on a Sunday morning. 

To access 11.00 Holy Communion (BCP) over the telephone: 
1) Dial 0131 460 1196
You will then be asked to 'Enter the Meeting ID followed by hash' 
2) Enter: 940 0289 5062 # 
You will then be asked to 'Enter your personal ID - or just enter #'
3) Just press # [there are no personal IDs for our services]
You will then be asked to 'Enter your meeting's password'
4) Enter 789196 #
You should then hear the service through your telephone.

Zoom access instructions
If you've not used Zoom before don't worry, it's amazingly simple.
1. Follow the Zoom link next to the service you wish to join.
3: The Zoomlauncher.exe should open automatically but you may need to be patient (if it takes a long time follow the instructions on screen)
4. Click on the launcher to open it and then click 'run'.
5. This will take you straight to our 'webinar' (service).
6. Enter your email and the password (published alongside the service, above)
7. Click the green button in the centre of your screen.
8. Have a little experiment with the two screens. You can toggle between them.
Once you've downloaded the launcher once it's even easier to join a 'meeting' again - so why not get set up in advance so you know you're all straight you want to join us?
